Battery industry continues to see growth 7/12/2010 8:50:26 AM Spectrum Brands (Madison, Wisconsin, USA), the maker of Rayovac batteries, moved up 15 spots to 63rd. Patent count was up 50%, Science Strength™ increased 126%, and Industry Impact™ improved by 47%. It has a new patent for alkaline cells having high capacity. Suez Environment (Paris, France) which made its debut in the last Patent Scorecard™ at 82nd moves up 15 spots to 67th. Patent count was up 100%, Industry Impact™ increased by 69% and the company cut 3.8 years off its Innovation Cycle Time™, an improvement of 22%. Suez has a new patent for water treatment process for oilfield produced water.
